Helen Ikhille is a Social Entrepreneur/Social Sector Manager and a Visionary Leader.

She is a Nation Builder with a strong belief in a New and Reformed Nigeria. Her proactive and positive contribution has always been through Female Matters on Health, Leadership and Entrepreneurship Initiative (a Non-Profit Organization) committed to Raising Women of Value and Substance.

Q. What is one productivity app, gadget, or tool you use consistently? 

Any.do is my favorite app, it helps me to stay organized.

Q. How do you practice self-care in your life? 

I make sure to rest when I’m tired. I also keep my environment clean and well scented because my house is my safe place. 

Q. What is one pet peeve of yours?

Slow internet 

Q. What is one thing you love about yourself?

I love that I’m tenacious. When I want something, I go for it. 

Q. What is one thing that makes you laugh hard? 

I laugh hard when I have to take pictures because I believe I don’t know how to pose like most ladies

Q. What is one thing about you most people don’t know?

I can be quite emotional and I’m a lover girl

Q. What is one cause or initiative you believe in and support? 

I believe so much in the empowerment of women. When you empower women, you empower nations. 

Q. What is one way you practice kindness to women in your life?

I support women by buying from them. Sharing opportunities and encouraging them. The Female Matters Programs also cover programs around women’s health, leadership talks, and skill acquisition. 

Q. What is one personal or professional development resource (book, podcast, course, video, song) you recommend?

I’d recommend Drive authored by Abiola Iyiola..  It’s a small but powerful book.

Q. What is one of your favorite mantras or quotes? 

” Just try new things. Don’t be afraid. Step out of your comfort zones and soar, all right? “
