Q. What is one productivity app, gadget, or tool you use consistently?

I basically use WhatsApp more, like literally, you will always for sure find me there.

Q. How do you practice self-care in your life?

Taking good care of ourselves is paramount to the success of our life. Do you know that our physical, spiritual, and emotional health are all connected and that supporting one supports the others? Taking care of all aspects of ourselves will increase the likelihood that we stay well.

The major tips to me practicing self-care in my life are

1. Focus on your strengths.

2. Focus on solving problems.

3. Focus on the future instead of reviewing hurts from the past.

4. Focus on your life instead of your illness.

Q. What is one pet peeve of yours?

I know most people don’t know what Chiclephobia or the fear of chewing gum is.

Let me explain further, it is a rare specific phobia that manifests in a variety of ways. I’ll run away from anybody chewing gum. It causes anxiety and anger in me.

Q. What is one thing you love about yourself?

I love the fact that I had to build my confidence, omo! I had this low self-esteem while growing up and it messed with my growing up but then it was something I was conscious about and worked on it.

Q. What is one thing that makes you laugh hard?

TikTok videos… Hahahahaha it’s such an emotional relief.

Q. What is one thing about you most people don’t know?

I’m a quiet person, it takes the grace of God to always leave my house, even if I go outside I can’t stay there for so long.

Q. What is one cause or initiative you believe in and support?

Self-empowerment and personal development. You can get motivated by a lot of people but then you have to take the actions yourself. No one is going to push you or compel you to do whatever you want except you want to do it yourself.

Q. What is one way you practice kindness to women in your life?

It’s to find a way to avail myself as much as possible in times when I’m needed

Q. What is one personal or professional development resource (book, podcast, course, video, song) you recommend?

I’ll recommend you watch on YouTube How great leaders inspire action by Simon Sinek

Q. What is one of your favorite mantras or quotes?

What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?

Bonus Question:

Q. Who is one woman in your network you’d like to see featured on the blog and blogger spotlight series

    Let’s get started.
Now compare that proverb to this famous aphorism.
This quote originated from Thomas Howell in New Sonnets and Pretty Pamphlets.
It’s one of my favorite aphorisms because it’s simple but yet powerful.
Life is too short to surround yourself with toxic people.
Yup, he was reminding Philadelphians that preventing fires is better than fighting them.
This quote came from Wales, first appearing in an 1866 publication.
    For example.
Today, I’ll define aphorism and show you how these handy little sayings make your writing more memorable.
    Examples of Aphorism in Literature
Speaking of being safe, that’s another aphorism example that you’ve probably heard before.
Luke’s having a tough time, and he’s discouraged.
Washington’s message was that it’s wiser to be upfront and deal with the consequences.
People often use this quote when discussing health, but Franklin was talking about fire safety.
    Let’s talk about that.
Pick an aphorism that relates to your message and use it to stay focused on your overarching theme.
