In today’s post, our amazing blogger of the month Temilola Otunla! shares a blog post from her Medium titled, Never Question an Instruction
It’s easy to do things just because it’s “how it’s done”
But we don’t understand to think further, we understand to just do.
If you’re an African, you probably heard this phrase growing up – “Never question an instruction”
Asking “why” helps us have a purpose for whatever we’re doing.
It’s not enough to do things, just because it’s required of us. We need to ask questions so we have a purpose other than to just get it done.
Asking “why” helps you think deeply, it gets your creative juices flowing. It’s from the “why’s” we discover more problems, think creatively, and provide innovative solutions. It helps us confront our fears, clear assumptions, and understand how we truly feel about something.
The greatest ideas come from asking “Why”
Refuse to just “exist”, choose to truly live.
