Olufisayo Abiodun is a recent MBA candidate at the W. P. Carey School of Business. Prior to getting her MBA, she worked full-time with PwC as a consultant and doubled as Creative Director of a women’s wear fashion brand; Gracie Abby. During her time at PwC, she gained distinct technical and relational skills having participated in, and managed several tax consulting engagements for 5 years. Fisayo believes there is a purpose in her creativity and makes daily efforts to improve herself whilst being a valuable member of her community.
In her spare time, she enjoys travelling, journaling, and curating style tips for her social media audience.

Q. How do you practice self-care in your life?
Decluttering my mind consistently and intentionally. Writing down tasks and ideas as they come to mind.

By speaking encouraging words, by listening intently when they need an ear, praying to see what their needs are and doing what’s in my capacity to support them.

“Guard your heart with all diligence, for out of it flows the issues of life”, highly correlated to “think you can, think you can’t, either way, you’re right”. Bottomline, the results of your life evolve from what you allow into your mind. Pay attention to the state of your mind.
